What communication protocol is used?

To be able to create a sensor able to last for up to 15 years, we've developed a uniquely compact and secure protocol called SecureDataShot™ (SDS).

SDS is a highly optimized communication protocol for ultra-low-power sensors. The protocol is highly scalable, supporting tens of thousands of sensors per gateway. It has end-to-end encryption from the sensor to the cloud using 128bit AES, built-in authentication, and a Curve25519 Diffe-Hellman key agreement scheme.

The communication protocol is developed by Disruptive Technologies.
