Organization Level Alerts let you manage alert thresholds, delays, escalation paths, and recipients across your entire organization from a single place using reusable templates. Instead of editing every Project and alert individually, updates to any alert automatically roll out to all linked Projects and devices via labels, and admins can lock these settings to keep any critical configurations safe.

Any Organization Admin in DT Studio who wants to manage alert thresholds, delays, escalation paths, and recipients across an entire organisation from a single place.
Where to find it?
Organization Level Alerts can be found in the lower left corner of the Studio, under the Alert Configuration name.
Navigating the Alert Configuration module
Clicking on the Alert Configuration module opens a view with three tabs:
Alert Templates
Escalations
Contact Groups
Alert Templates
The Alert Template tab lets you define alert templates that can be applied across multiple Projects in your Organization.
When creating an Alert template, you can start from scratch with a blank template or choose a pre-built option such as Offline Sensor Alert or Offline Cloud Connector Alert. For next steps in configuring Alerts, visit: How to create Organization Level Alerts
Escalations
The Escalations tab lets you build automated, step-by-step notification paths that route alerts up the chain of command if an issue goes unresolved.
For example, you can create a rule that texts a Store Manager after 2 hours, but escalates to a District Manager after 3 hours. By saving these flows as templates, you can apply a multi-tier escalation to any alert in one click, and any future adjustments will instantly cascade across all linked projects. Contact groups
The Contact Groups tab lets you organize your notification recipients by their role - such as Store Employees, District Managers, or the Maintenance Team - instead of managing individual names for every single alert. Once created, you can quickly add these groups into your escalation templates, allowing DT Studio to dynamically route the right type of alert to the appropriate team at the right time.
