The Wireless Differential Pressure Sensor periodically measures the pressure difference between two spaces using a thermal mass flow principle. The resulting mass flow signal is converted into a calibrated differential pressure measurement using a validated model developed by Sensirion.
The measurements are wirelessly transmitted to nearby Cloud Connectors (gateways) at a predetermined Heartbeat Interval (HBI) via the SecureDataShot™ protocol. Cloud Connectors relay sensor data to the cloud via cellular or Ethernet connectivity. From the cloud, the data can be integrated with other services via REST APIs and webhooks, or viewed directly in DT Studio.
The Wireless Differential Pressure Sensor uses HBI to transmit a message indicating its presence and operational status. The interval can be set to 2.5 min, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, or 60 min.
This sensor comes in two versions: EU (Product No. 103021) and US (Product No. 103022), each tailored to meet distinct regional certifications, compliances, and wireless communication requirements.
