Tactile Touch Sensor

image 8.jpg

The Wireless Tactile Touch Sensor detects when the sensor is pressed and gives audible and tactile feedback to the user. A press will result in a wireless message being sent to nearby Cloud Connectors (gateways) at a predetermined Heartbeat Interval (HBI) via the SecureDataShot™ protocol. Cloud Connectors relay sensor data to the cloud via cellular or ethernet connectivity. From the cloud, the data can be integrated into other services using REST APIs and webhooks or viewed directly in DT Studio.

The Wireless Tactile Touch Sensor uses HBI to transmit a message notifying the system that it is present and operational, which can be set to 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, or 60 min.

This sensor comes in two versions: EU (Product No. 101594) and US (Product No. 101643), each tailored to meet distinct regional certifications, compliances, and wireless communication requirements.
