The Wireless Proximity Sensor can detect objects that are removed or placed in front of the sensor. When the status is changed, the sensor wirelessly transmits the result to nearby Cloud Connectors (gateways) at a predetermined Heartbeat Interval (HBI) via the SecureDataShot™ protocol. Cloud Connectors relay sensor data to the cloud via cellular or ethernet connectivity. From the cloud, the data can be integrated into other services using REST APIs and webhooks or viewed directly in DT Studio.
The Wireless Proximity Sensor uses HBI to transmit a message notifying the system that it is present and operational, which can be set to 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, or 60 min.
This sensor comes in two versions: EU (Product No. 102064) and US (Product No. 102096), each tailored to meet distinct regional certifications, compliances, and wireless communication requirements.
