The Wireless Counting Touch Sensor detects when the sensor is touched. A touch will increment an internal counter, and the cloud server is updated with the count number at periodic intervals. Wireless messages are sent via SecureDataShot™ technology to the Cloud Connector (Gateway). The Cloud Connector relays the information onward to the cloud server.
The Wireless Counting Touch Sensor uses Heartbeat Interval (HBI) to transmit a message notifying the system that it is present and operational, which can be set to 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, or 60 min.
An immediate message is transmitted if the sensor is touched and held for approximately 4 seconds, allowing real-time sensor testing.
EU and US variants
This sensor is available in two variants, one for the EU and one for the US, due to different certifications, compliances, and wireless communication.
