The Cloud Connector uses a cellular or ethernet connection to relay data from wireless sensors that communicate using the SecureDataShot protocol to the DT Cloud infrastructure. Data from the cloud can be viewed directly in DT Studio or integrated into other services using REST APIs and webhooks.
When using a cellular connection, our Cloud Connectors are designed to automatically select the most suitable network via the integrated firmware in the cellular modem. The modem and SIM are programmed to determine the optimal provider/network based on various factors.
The Cloud Connector is offered in two versions: Cellular/Ethernet version and Ethernet-Only version. Each version has two variants, EU and US, and is tailored to meet distinct regional certifications, compliances, and wireless communication requirements.
