There are two supported interactive card types to display and visualize open/closed door and window data from sensors: Single sensor cards, and Multiple sensor cards.

Permission: A user role of Project Developer or higher.
Single sensor card
To show open/closed door and window readings on a single sensor card, you can use either a Proximity sensor or a Door & Window sensor.
Open/closed proximity events
In a 1x1 view:
The sensor card displays the current Open/Closed status in real-time.
By clicking the three dots and selecting "Change to Histogram", the card will switch to display the total count of Open events within the chosen time frame, which you can adjust in the upper-right corner of the dashboard.
In Expanded view:
The expanded view will show a horizontal bar graph with the date, time, and duration of each Open/Closed status within the selected time frame. To toggle the display of the sensor’s current status, click the three dots and select "Hide/Show Sensor Status" on the upper right side of the card.
The expanded card will display a bar graph showing the number of Open events within the selected time frame. Events in the graph are grouped by hours for practicality, depending on the zoom level. The more you zoom in, the more detailed the view becomes.
Counting Proximity events
When using Proximity sensors with Counting mode enabled, the data displayed will differ slightly. Instead of Open/Close events, you will see State changes.
You will only view state changes (door/window open, door/window closed) within a selected timeframe. Each event (open or closed) counts as one state change.
Expanding the card reveals a graph detailing the number of state changes during a specific time. Events in the graph are grouped by hours for practicality, depending on the zoom level. The more you zoom in, the more detailed the view becomes.
Multiple sensor card
We use Open Doors and Windows dashboard cards to display open/closed door and window readings from multiple sensors.
Multiple sensor cards can display the data from various sensors, which can include the same sensor type (e.g., only Proximity sensors) or a combination of the following sensor types:

A Multiple sensor card always displays the current Open/Close status, regardless of its size and the time frame.
Creating an Open/closed door and window card
To add a new Open/closed door and window card, select Create new card:
- Choose card type (single or multiple sensors)
- Choose a name for the card (optional)
- Pick sensor(s)
- Set card size
- Click Add to dashboard
You will find the newly created card in the first available position on the dashboard.
