The Wireless Temperature Sensor with Data Backfill and Mounting Bracket periodically measures Temperature (°C/°F) and wirelessly transmits the result to nearby Cloud Connectors (gateways) at a predetermined Heartbeat Interval (HBI) via the SecureDataShot™ protocol. Cloud Connectors relay sensor data to the cloud via cellular or Ethernet connectivity. From the cloud, the data can be integrated into other services using REST APIs and webhooks or viewed directly in DT Studio.
Sensor comes equipped with a Mounting Bracket - Temperature Sensor, which is a sensor accessory designed to enhance the wireless range of Wireless Temperature sensors by up to 150 meters (492ft).
It features an internal antenna that passively boosts the radio signal, ensuring stronger connectivity between the sensor and the gateway, and is especially effective in metal-rich environments such as refrigerators, freezers, or installations on metal surfaces, where signal interference is common.
The Wireless Temperature Sensor uses HBI to transmit a message notifying the system that it is present and operational, which can be set to 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, or 60 min.
There is only one version of this sensor available: US version (Product No. 102948).
