How to return your devices
To return devices to Disruptive Technologies via DHL, follow these steps:
1. Pack your devices
- Use the original box the devices came in, if possible.
- Pack the devices securely to avoid damage during shipping; transportation damage may cause false analysis results.
- Make sure the package is clearly labeled and does not have any old shipping labels on it (remove them or make them unreadable).
2. Attach shipping documents
The shipping fee is prepaid by Disruptive Technologies. You only need the return label.
It can be found in your original order packaging or in the shipping confirmation email from Disruptive Technologies. If you can't find the physical copy, print the label from the email.
- Affix the DHL return label on any side of the parcel.
- Make sure the label is visible, and barcodes are easy to scan.
3. Schedule a pickup or drop off the parcel
You can either request a DHL pickup or drop your parcel at a DHL ServicePoint. To schedule a pickup online:
- Go to the DHL Express website and select your location.
- Click the Schedule a Pickup tab.
- In the "Do you need to create a shipping label" section, click No.
- Select "I have a DHL Waybill Number" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the DHL waybill number from your pre-paid return label.
- Fill in your country code and phone number, then click Next.
- Enter the pickup location, then click Next.
- Enter the number of packages, total weight, and package dimensions, then click Next.
- Choose your preferred pickup time, then click Schedule Pickup.
4. Track your shipment
You can track your return using DHL's Track & Trace with the barcode number on your DHL return label. Tracking becomes available once DHL scans the parcel.
Tracking numbers usually look like this:
- 10 digits, numbers only
- Starts with 000, JJD01, JJD00, JVGL, or similar (e.g., 1234567890 or JJD0099999999)
Deadline for return
Unless you have a written agreement with Disruptive Technologies, products must be returned within 3 months of receiving your return confirmation. If equipment is not returned within 3 months, you will be charged for the hardware and shipment cost of any replacement units.
