Projects in Studio can only be deleted when they are completely empty and when you have the right user role. If you are unable to delete a project, follow the steps below to prepare it for deletion.
Who is this article for?
Studio users who want to delete a project but are unable to do so.
What do you need?
- Permission: A user role of Project administrator or higher
Steps
Before a project can be deleted, all of the following resources must be removed from it:
- Data Connectors: Open the project in Studio, select API Integrations in the left menu, then select Data Connectors and remove them.
- Service Accounts: Open the project in Studio, select API Integrations, then select Service Accounts and remove them.
- Devices: Move all devices out of the project to another project.
- Emulated devices: Move emulated devices out, or delete them.
Once all resources have been removed, you will be able to delete the project from the Project Settings.
Still unable to delete?
If the project still cannot be deleted after removing all resources, contact DT Support for help.
