The Project Dashboard is an easy-to-use tool for visualizing and getting an at-a-glance overview of your sensor installation. Create customizable sensor overview cards based on a simple drag-and-drop user interface. This page provides a quick introduction to the tool's features.

What you need

  • Permission: A user role of Project Developer or higher.

Adding cards

Dashboards are made up of interactive cards. There are currently two supported card types, Single sensor card and Multiple sensors card. All sensor types can be added as a single-sensor card, while you can only add temperature sensors to a multiple-sensors card (max. ten sensors).

To add a new card, select Create new card:

  1. Choose card type (single or multiple sensors)
  2. Pick sensor(s)
  3. Set a card name (optional)
  4. Set card size
  5. Click Add to dashboard

You will find the newly created card in the first available position on the dashboard.

Reordering and resizing

Dashboards are based on a simple grid layout with four columns and an adjusting number of rows. You can resize cards by dragging the corners. Also, you can reposition cards by grabbing the top section of the card.

Exploring data

The dashboard enables quick and intuitive data exploration by viewing sensors in context to one another. All the cards share a tooltip and x-axis, making detecting deviations or changes across sensors easier. Zooming is done by clicking and dragging the mouse to highlighting a specific area in a card. Doing this will update the x-axis for all the cards.

Tip - Fullscreen mode

You can set dashboards to fullscreen mode by clicking the fullscreen button in the top right-hand corner. You can also scale the dashboard up or down by using standard browser zooming (CMD or CTRL and +/-) to create the perfect view.
